Our Mission

Tyson’s Place Animal Rescue’s mission is assisting terminally ill people with finding new families for their pets.

We don't have a facility, so we rely on volunteer foster homes in West Michigan to temporarily house the animals until adopted. Because of our unique mission, we mostly take in senior dogs and cats. We provide all veterinary care and supplies. Interested? Please click the foster tab above to fill out a foster application.

Adoptable Animals

We list pets on our website as soon as they become available for adoption. Because of our mission to help terminally ill people find new homes for their pets, we often take in older animals who are looking to spend their golden years in a loving home.

Meeting the Animals

Where Can You Find Us?

We are a small rescue, and we depend on private foster homes to care for all our animals until they find a permanent home. Since we do not have a facility, you must make an appointment to meet with one of our adoptable animals. Please contact us to arrange a time.

What People Say About Us

I'm a foster home for Tysons. This is a very responsible, ethical, organized and loving organization. They take great care of the animals in the rescue. I would definitely recommend being a foster and/or adopting from Tysons.

Great people making a difference for senior dogs and others in the West Michigan area. If you ever thought you were just one person and couldn't make a difference, volunteer to foster! You will make a difference!
